Full agreement
Last updated: October 23, 2026
1. Who this is for. You must be 18 or older. You are an independent artist, not an ArtQuestor employee. ArtQuestor is a marketplace: you sell, and we provide the platform.
2. Your artwork. You own it and have the right to sell it. List only original work, or work you are authorized to sell. Tell buyers clearly if a piece is a print, an edition, or made with AI tools.
3. Prices and fees. You set your prices. ArtQuestor keeps 30% of the item price of each sale. Payment processor fees are paid by the artist and are deducted from the artist’s payout. There is no monthly fee.
4. Getting paid. We pay you 10 days after the buyer receives the artwork, once the 14-day return window has passed with no return requested.
5. Shipping. Ship within 7 days of the order at most, with tracking and careful packaging. You are responsible for the artwork until it is delivered, so insure higher-value pieces.
6. Returns. Returns follow our Returns Policy. If a piece arrives damaged or is not as described, you refund or replace it.
7. Taxes. You are responsible for your own income taxes. Sales tax on your sales is your responsibility, except where the law requires ArtQuestor to collect and pay it, in which case we will.
8. Using your images. You allow ArtQuestor to show and promote your work on our site, social media, email and ads while it is listed. You can ask us to stop at any time, and we will stop new promotion within 30 days.
9. Buyer information. Use buyer details only to complete their order. Do not add buyers to mailing lists, and do not take sales off ArtQuestor to avoid fees.
10. Not allowed. Illegal, stolen, copied, harmful, hateful or misleading content, fake reviews, and fraud.
11. Ending your account. You can close your gallery at any time once open orders are finished. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with notice when possible. Money owed to you for completed orders will still be paid.
12. Limits and disputes. ArtQuestor is not liable for lost sales or indirect damages. You are responsible for claims about your own artwork, such as copyright. We will first try to resolve disagreements by talking. Otherwise California law applies, and disputes go to the courts in Orange County, California.
13. Changes. We may update this agreement and will email you before important changes take effect. Continuing to sell means you accept the update.
